NF SERVICE CERTIFICATION (AFNOR NF SERVICE)

The AFNOR NF 323 standard - founded on the X 50-057 certification published in July 2000 – is the first French standard specifically designed for market research and opinion poll activities.

Jean Pierre Malosto – founder and president of ESTEL and administrator of Syntec Market Research and Opinion – is also president of the French NF Service Committee (a standardization commission that brings together advertisers and market research agencies, both of whom define the standard contents).

ESTEL was certified by AFNOR NF Service in October 2003 :
14 client oriented procedures were developed to enlist the agency in a dynamic and continuous improvement of the Quality of service :

  • Professional ethics and the code of professional practices (methodology, data collection, data control and analysis, presentation of results) are reviewed regularly by AFNOR certification


  • Detailed documentation describing the procedures applied at each stage of the survey


  • Client satisfaction measurement devices, systematic recording and processing of clients’ requests


  • Procedures to account for the implementation of improvements


  • A strategy for continual staff training, to develop an understanding of the research techniques and their development


  • Appointment of a Quality Manager who will guarantee the follow up of the Quality commitments developed by the ESTEL.
